Exogenesis Studio has unveiled a new trailer for their upcoming Metroidvania game INAYAH – Life After Gods, scheduled to release in early 2025. The studio, known for titles such as Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader and Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, showcases its latest project with a focus on hand-crafted visuals and intense combat sequences.

The trailer introduces players to Inayah’s journey through an apocalyptic alien world, where she battles formidable bosses and overcomes obstacles using her lethal combos. The game features three unique weapon forms with different combat and movement capabilities, a variety of character builds and abilities, and 20 unique bosses with distinct mechanics.

INAYAH – Life After Gods immerses players in an expansive hand-drawn 2D world filled with diverse biomes and secrets to uncover. The game’s plot centers around Inayah, an orphaned outcast guided by her deceased mentor’s spirit as she searches for her lost tribe and uncovers the truths that define family.

The game boasts a rich score composed by Alex Kestner, known for his work with brands like Lamborghini and Puma. Voice acting is provided by Jessica Carroll, who has starred in over 28 shows and games including Baldur’s Gate 3.
