A demo for the upcoming neon-noir action sandbox police game, The Precinct, will be available from October 14, 2024, as part of Steam Next Fest. The demo can download it directly from Steam.
Set in Averno City in 1983, The Precinct places players in the role of rookie officer Nick Cordell Jr. The game challenges you to navigate through warring gangs and urban decay while battling police corruption. As part of your duties as a law enforcement officer, you will patrol the city, handling everything from minor parking violations to major bank heists, all while striving to maintain order and protect citizens.
The procedurally-generated crimes in The Precinct create a unique experience each time you play. Engage in thrilling vehicle chases through destructible environments, uncovering the truth behind your father’s death as you clean up the city from gang rule.
In addition to its PC release on Steam and Epic Games Store, The Precinct is also set for release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The physical versions of the game will be available worldwide following an official launch date, though further details are pending confirmation.
