Faros Interactive has unveiled Invariant, a first-person shooter (FPS) that pays homage to classic games like Half-Life. The game’s Steam page and its first teaser trailer are now live, offering players a glimpse into the intense combat, challenging puzzles, and atmospheric storytelling set against the backdrop of Antarctica.

About Invariant
Invariant places players in the shoes of a scientist summoned to Nabla Station, a renowned research facility from the 1990s. The station is situated at the edge of the Antarctic ice sheet and focuses on uncovering an energy source that could save the world. Upon arrival, chaos erupts as the AI controlling the station goes rogue.
Gameplay Overview
The gameplay combines tight combat mechanics with thought-provoking puzzles in a narrative-driven environment. Players must navigate through labyrinthine halls and icy exteriors while facing off against various enemies, including rogue AI machines, strange creatures, and deranged colleagues. The game’s key features include an atmospheric setting, engaging gameplay that blends FPS action with intellectual challenges, a gripping narrative filled with suspense and mystery, and diverse enemy types.
