Factory automation game Techtonica has officially launched its full version 1.0 release across multiple platforms including Steam for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Game Pass today.
The game, which blends first-person exploration with factory building mechanics set in a mysterious sci-fi world, introduces players to the planet Calyx where they must mine resources to construct a subterranean factory while uncovering the secrets of their new home. Players can explore bioluminescent caves and use a black hole gun to shape the environment as they progress.
Techtonica 1.0, titled “Going Up,” includes significant updates such as a fully voiced narrative campaign, a new Desert Biome, a freight elevator for vertical travel between levels, jetpack upgrades, and numerous quality of life improvements requested by players.
The game offers both single-player and up to four player co-op modes, providing flexibility in how players can experience the story and build their factories. Techtonica is available now on Steam (PC), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Game Pass with full patch notes detailing all additions and improvements.
