Tactics Battler Warside from developer LAVABIRD and publisher First Break Labs releases a new demo on Steam today, with the full game scheduled for March 10, 2025. The fast-paced turn-based strategy title will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam.
New Demo Features
The newly launched “Basic Training” trailer showcases Warside’s gameplay mechanics. Players can command a variety of units including tanks, warships, helicopters, and more in classic turn-based tactics battles across different game modes such as Story Mode campaign, co-op, and PvP.
Gameplay Details
Mobilize 12 unique Commanders and over 25 unit types through diverse environments like forests, deserts, and icy regions. The demo includes new air units, such as jets, bombers, and helicopters, adding a layer of complexity to the strategic gameplay.
Warside introduces powerful abilities for each Commander that can turn the tide of battle. For instance, Jackson’s EMP Blast disables vehicles within an area, Beckett’s Orbital Strike rains down energy beams from above, and Mordred’s Rage forces enemy units to attack each other during their turn.
The demo features a five-mission mini-campaign where players must hold positions or capture objectives. Additionally, new Battle Powers can be utilized in both campaign missions and PvP modes within the demo.
Release Information
Warside is set to launch on March 10, 2025, on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam with language support for English, French, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese. The new demo is now available on PC through Steam.
