Red Dead Redemption coming to PC. Still worth it or too late?

Red Dead Redemption and its companion story, Undead Nightmare, will soon make their debut on PC platforms on October 29. This marks the first time these popular games will be available for you on PC.

In partnership with Double Eleven, both titles offer a variety of enhancements specifically designed for PC users. You can now enjoy native 4K resolution at up to 144hz refresh rates on compatible hardware, along with support for Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9) monitors. The visual experience has been significantly improved through HDR10 compatibility.

The games now also feature full keyboard and mouse functionality to enhance your control over gameplay. Additional enhancements include support for NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 upscaling technologies as well as NVIDIA’s DLSS Frame Generation, which boosts performance while maintaining image quality. You can tweak settings such as draw distances and shadow quality to suit your preferences.

More details about pre-purchasing options will be announced later this week. Both games will be made available through the Rockstar Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store, with a demo version ready for download from Steam.
