Butterscotch Shenanigans has announced that Crashlands 2, the highly anticipated sequel to its popular open-world crafting RPG Crashlands, will launch on PC, iOS, and Android on April 10, 2025. The game, promises a bigger, bolder experience than its predecessor which garnered over 1.8 million downloads.
Returning to Woanope
Players will once again inhabit the role of Flux Dabes, an intergalactic trucker seeking a relaxing vacation on the vibrant alien planet of Woanope. However, Flux’s plans are quickly disrupted when he’s forced to crash land after a mysterious blast rocks the planet’s surface.
Crashlands 2 retains the core gameplay elements that made its predecessor a success: exploration, crafting, combat, and base-building. Players will navigate a lush wilderness teeming with unique creatures, both friendly and hostile, while gathering resources to create an array of tools, weapons, and gadgets.
New Threats and Allies
This installment introduces a deeper narrative involving a lurking threat to Woanope’s fragile ecosystem. Flux must team up with new allies like the wise Grandmammy, the inventive Kleewik, and the stealthy Quadropi of the Fifth Arm to uncover the truth and restore balance.
The game will feature cross-platform saves, allowing players to seamlessly transition their progress between PC and mobile devices. It will also be localized in English, French, German, Portuguese (Brazilian), Spanish (LATAM), Chinese (Simplified), and Japanese.
Building on a Beloved Legacy
Adam Coster, CEO of Butterscotch Shenanigans, expressed the team’s dedication to crafting a worthy sequel: “Since the moment we launched the original Crashlands, we’ve been wanting to come back for round 2.
