Mundfish studio and Focus Entertainment have announced that Atomic Heart’s third downloadable content (DLC) pack, titled “Enchantment Under the Sea,” will be released on January 28, 2025. The DLC is part of the game’s Atomic Pass and introduces new underwater environments, weapons, and gameplay mechanics.
Underwater Exploration
The “Enchantment Under the Sea” pack takes players from the previous location in Limbo back to Facility 3826, this time exploring the Neptune Research Center. Players will encounter familiar locations like Chelomey, which has changed drastically under robot control. The DLC expands on the main storyline and introduces new characters while diving into the mysteries of the underwater facility.
New Weapons and Abilities
Season pass owners will gain access to two new weapons: the Thunderclap hammer that deals increased damage with electrical charges, and the KM-4 Kuzmich shotgun with customizable spread. Additionally, players can use new glove abilities like Blaze for area-of-effect fireball attacks and Whip as a grapple tool.
Challenges and Enemies
The DLC introduces new enemies and bosses, including coral mutants and the formidable MOR-4Y, requiring players to utilize their newly acquired weapons and skills. The expansion offers fresh challenges and opportunities for exploration within the dystopian world of Atomic Heart.
Availability and Platforms
“Enchantment Under the Sea” will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC alongside the game’s Premium Edition and Atomic Pass. The full version of Atomic Heart is currently out on these platforms.
Future Updates
The upcoming DLC is part of a series that includes previously released “Annihilation Instinct” and “Trapped in Limbo,” with one additional pack yet to be revealed as part of the Atomic Pass. The third installment, “Enchantment Under the Sea,” promises more content for fans looking to deepen their experience within the game’s unique dystopian universe.
