Alien: Rogue Incursion Launches on PlayStation VR2 and PC

Survios, the industry-leading virtual reality studio, has released Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One, a single-player action-horror game set in the Alien universe. The game is now available on PlayStation VR2 and PCVR via Steam.

About Alien: Rogue Incursion

In Alien: Rogue Incursion, players step into the boots of rogue Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks, who embarks on a mission to Purdan (LV-354) in search of her former squadmate. After an unexpected attack, Zula and her AI companion Davis 01 find themselves trapped in Gemini Exoplanet Solutions’ Castor’s Cradle research facility, infested with Xenomorphs.

Gameplay Mechanics

Players will use iconic weapons and gear like the Pulse Rifle and Motion Tracker to explore and survive within the desolate facility. The game features a mix of exploration, combat, and puzzle-solving as players gather intel and supplies to uncover the mysteries of what happened at Castor’s Cradle.

Development and Collaborations

Survios collaborated with 20th Century Games to bring this immersive experience to life. TQ Jefferson, Chief Product Officer at Survios, emphasized the honor of capturing the haunting atmosphere fans love in virtual reality for the first time. John Drake, GM of 20th Century Games, highlighted how VR perfectly complements the existential dread and fear evoked by the Alien franchise.

Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part Two, which continues Zula’s story with deadlier enemies and more challenging scenarios, is currently in development. Players can experience the launch trailer here
