Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed now available on consoles and PC

The game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Developed by A Heartful of Games, this 3D beat ‘em up platformer builds on the 2023 film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and continues its story. The game introduces new mutant enemies and features a mix of solo and 2-player co-op modes.

Players take control of the four turtle brothers, exploring New York City as they confront a new wave of mutant threats, called “Mewbies.” These enemies come in 10 different types, each featuring multiple mutation forms. Players can also use each turtle’s distinct combat style, with unique weapon sets such as Donatello’s bo staff and Michelangelo’s nunchaku. The original voice cast from the film reprises their roles, bringing added authenticity to the characters.

The game includes a variety of missions and side quests. In addition to battling enemies, players will navigate interactive environments, from the iconic Sewer Lair to locations such as The Coexisting Center and The Haunted Arcade. Side activities include discovering hidden graffiti, completing dojo challenges, and even pizza delivery missions. Experience points earned throughout the game allow for unlocking new abilities and strengthening relationships with allies.

Visually, the game stays faithful to the art style of the Mutant Mayhem film, with characters designed by Woodrow White. Both 2D and 3D cutscenes are fully voice-acted, providing a dynamic experience. Additional features include unlockable skins, including versions of the Turtles inspired by the original comic book and the 1980s cartoon series.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed is available in digital and physical formats, including a Deluxe Edition at select retailers.
