Tetris Forever, developed by Digital Eclipse in partnership with The Tetris Company, is now available for purchase on PC via Steam and GOG as well as on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4|5, and Xbox One and Series X|S. This extensive project includes five interactive timelines that highlight the evolution of Tetris through playable games, video interviews, and digital artifacts.

Tetris Forever offers a comprehensive look at the history of Tetris. The game is composed of five interactive timelines, each showcasing pivotal moments in its development. These timelines combine more than 15 playable versions of Tetris with extensive interviews from key figures like Alexey Pajitnov, Henk Rogers, and Maya Rogers.
Gameplay
The experience begins with a recreation of the original version of Tetris that Alexey Pajitnov programmed on a Soviet Electronika 60 computer system. This is followed by the first commercial release of Tetris for IBM computers and includes multiplayer titles like Tetris Battle Gaiden, allowing players to relive different eras in Tetris history.
Interviews
Tetris Forever features over 90 minutes of interviews conducted by Area 5, the creators behind documentaries like “Outerlands” and “The Making of The Last of Us.” These interviews provide deep insights into how Tetris was created and its journey from Soviet Russia to becoming a global phenomenon.
New Game Element
An all-new game mode called Tetris Time Warp is included in the package. This multiplayer feature lets up to four players compete through various eras, jumping between different gameplay styles to become the ultimate Tetris master across time periods.
