Odd Bug Studio and United Label have officially released Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2021 action-RPG hit. The game is now available on Steam, Epic, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. This medieval-inspired “squeak-quel” introduces players to a new protagonist, Arlo, heir to the Warden of the Wastes, as he embarks on a bloody quest for vengeance against an ancient and existential threat looming over the Ratdom.
Building on a Fan-Favorite Formula
Tails of Iron 2 expands upon its predecessor with significant updates shaped by player feedback. The game boasts a campaign that is twice as long as the original, a more diverse world featuring six distinct biomes, and new gameplay mechanics such as giant beast hunts and an all-new spellcasting system. Fans of the series will also find an enhanced version of the franchise’s brutal-but-fair combat system, ensuring a challenging yet rewarding experience.
Standard and Deluxe Editions
The game is available in two versions: Standard and Deluxe. The Deluxe Edition includes two DLC packs: the “Augur of the Draugr” set, which features legendary Draugr armor, and the “Hair to the Throne” cosmetic pack, offering exclusive beards and hairstyles. Additionally, PC players who opt for the Deluxe Edition will receive a digital artbook and the official soundtrack.
