Rebellion, the studio behind the acclaimed Sniper Elite series, has officially launched Sniper Elite: Resistance. The latest installment in the franchise is now available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 Pro, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Additionally, the game is accessible on Game Pass for subscribers. Players can choose between the Standard and Deluxe editions, with the latter including a Season Pass for extra content.

A Parallel Story in Occupied France
Sniper Elite: Resistance introduces Harry Hawker as the new lead character. Hawker, an agent of the Special Operations Executive (SOE), uncovers a Nazi “Wunderwaffe” that could alter the course of World War II. This standalone campaign unfolds alongside the events of Sniper Elite 5, shifting focus to covert operations deep within occupied France. Players will collaborate with the French Resistance to thwart this dire threat.
The game maintains the franchise’s hallmark mechanics—precise sniping, stealth tactics, and third-person combat—while offering players flexibility in how they approach missions. Features such as optional Kill List targets, multiple infiltration routes, and side objectives return, ensuring varied gameplay experiences.

New Features and Enhancements
In addition to its core campaign, Sniper Elite: Resistance debuts Propaganda Missions—a fresh challenge type where players locate hidden Resistance posters in each level to unlock unique missions as a Resistance Fighter. Other highlights include:
- A full-length campaign playable solo or in co-op mode
- An authentic arsenal of World War II weaponry with customization options
- The iconic X-ray kill cam showcasing the impact of each shot
- Fan-favorite Invasion mode for cat-and-mouse multiplayer gameplay
- Adversarial multiplayer modes for competitive action
