The city builder and grand strategy game, Kaiserpunk, is set to release its second public playtest from November 29th through December 3rd. This alternative history title challenges players with production management and logistics in a dynamic global setting.
About the Playtest
Kaiserpunk returns stronger than ever for its second public playtest, offering an enhanced experience that spans over 100 unique regions on a grand strategy map. The game now includes several new features such as flag design, heritage selection, and expanded social pillars to align your nation’s political ideology. A revamped tutorial system, based on player feedback, aims at providing clearer guidance.
Playtesters can look forward to exploring over 20 maps spread across four unique biomes with branching narratives that offer meaningful choices. The diplomacy system now provides players alternatives beyond military conflict, and the basic trade system allows for resource exchanges when needed. With Tier 3 production facilities available, players can build advanced industries and infrastructure.
The UI/UX overhaul brings a sleeker, more intuitive experience, while enhanced combat systems provide deeper battle phases with improved clarity. The upgraded weather system adds an element of realism to the game world, and army specializations offer unique upgrades for military units.
Download the playtest version here. The demo is time-limited but allows up to 5 hours of gameplay per session. Players can start and set up a new game as many times as they wish.
