Siege Camp has unveiled a series of major updates for its persistent war MMO Foxhole, including the upcoming “Airborne” update, which will introduce air battles to the game. Additionally, an “Infantry” update is scheduled for November 18th, promising significant overhauls and enhancements to infantry combat mechanics.
Airborne update:
The “Airborne” update, set for release in Summer 2025, aims to take Foxhole’s massive player-driven conflicts from land and sea into the skies. Players can expect an expansion of the game’s warzones with new air battles that will add a critical aerial dimension to existing ground combat.
Infantry update:
The “Infantry” update, releasing on November 18th, introduces several key changes designed to enhance the infantry experience in Foxhole:
Infantry combat overhaul.
Players can anticipate more tactical and dynamic infantry gameplay with refined suppression mechanics, weapon shouldering, and a stamina overhaul. These updates will allow for more strategic and impactful engagements.
New anti-tank weaponry
Infantry forces are now better equipped to counter enemy armor through the introduction of specialized anti-tank rifles, giving players new tools to disrupt enemy advances.
Close Quarters Combat System
A new melee combat system has been added, featuring charge attacks, blocking, and a variety of weapons such as the Mace and Sword. Additionally, new shotguns can be used to stagger and bleed enemy soldiers in close quarters fights.
Infantry Battlegrounds Enhancement
The battlefield environment will become more engaging with the addition of large-scale minefields and ruined fortifications that offer cover and a dynamic combat setting for infantry players.
Medic Update
Medics now play a critical role, capable of transporting wounded soldiers from the front lines to hospitals for full recovery. Field Hospitals can be constructed directly within bunker networks, enabling medical operations at the trench lines.
Equipment Loadouts
Players will have greater customization options with new equipment loadout features, allowing them to assemble predetermined gear with ease and efficiency.
New Vehicles
The update also introduces new tanks and the all-new Medical Train, which acts as a mobile field hospital on the battlefield. This addition provides crucial medical support in dynamic combat scenarios.
