Elroy and the Aliens Joins Steam Next Fest Ahead of April 2 Launch

The 90s-inspired point-and-click adventure Elroy and the Aliens is set to launch on Steam on April 2, 2025, but eager fans can get an early taste during this month’s Steam Next Fest. A demo will be available, offering a glimpse into this story-rich sci-fi puzzler.

A Nostalgic Journey Through Time and Space

Elroy and the Aliens takes players back to 1993, following the chaotic yet passionate rocket engineer Elroy and his daring companion Peggie, a reporter. Together, they embark on a quest to uncover the truth behind Elroy’s father’s mysterious disappearance. Their investigation leads them on an intergalactic journey spanning two planets and over 60 unique locales.

The game promises a blend of exploration, puzzles, and storytelling, all wrapped in a visual style reminiscent of classic LucasArts and Sierra games. Along the way, players will encounter peculiar aliens, ancient legends, and an eclectic cast of characters as they unravel an archaeological mystery with galaxy-changing implications.
