Serafini Productions has announced that BrokenLore: LOW, the first installment in its horror game series, will release on Steam on February 21, 2025. To accompany the announcement, two trailers have been unveiled: one highlighting the release date and another showcasing the game’s retro-inspired segments. A demo is currently available for players eager to explore the world of BrokenLore: LOW.
A Dark Tale of Mystery and Horror
In BrokenLore: LOW, players assume the role of Naomi Montgomery, a young woman who travels to the enigmatic village of Kirisame Mura to meet a music producer. However, her journey takes a sinister turn as she encounters supernatural entities and uncovers a dark legend tied to an ancient temple and its tragic curse. The game explores themes of envy, ambition, and failure, immersing players in a haunting narrative that serves as a prelude to the broader BrokenLore series.

Kirisame Mura: A Labyrinth of Choices
The village of Kirisame Mura is designed as an inescapable labyrinth, symbolizing the protagonist’s struggles with cyclical choices and broken destinies. The game’s structure reinforces this concept, blending psychological depth with environmental storytelling. Notably, Serafini Productions collaborated with a psychologist to authentically portray the emotional impact of trauma within the narrative.
Retro Aesthetics and Unique Features
BrokenLore: LOW incorporates retro-styled graphics that are integral to its storytelling rather than serving as mere visual flair. Additionally, Italian sculptor Bruno Lucchi contributed statues featured in the game, adding an artistic touch to its eerie atmosphere. The game’s demo is available now on Steam, offering players a glimpse into its chilling world.
Serafini Productions has also teased future entries in the series, titled DON’T WATCH and UNFOLLOW, which are set to release in the coming months.
