Arthurian Action Roguelite SWORN Enters Early Access February 6th

Team17 Digital and Windwalk Games have announced that their action roguelite, SWORN, will launch into early access on PC on February 6th. The game features solo and co-op gameplay for up to four players, challenging them to cleanse a corrupted Camelot from the influence of a twisted King Arthur and his Knights.

Early Access Launch Includes Open Demo

The early access launch will coincide with an open demo, allowing both new and existing fans to experience SWORN’s gameplay. The demo features several new additions, including ultimate abilities, challenges, paragon shrines, and a revamped player experience. This allows players to test the game’s mechanics and provide valuable feedback to the developers.

A Fallen Camelot Awaits

SWORN plunges players into a reimagined version of Arthurian legend. Familiar faces like Merlin and Nimue appear alongside corrupted versions of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Players must explore this visually striking world, inspired by the art style of Mike Mignola, to uncover the source of the encroaching darkness.

Customizable Combat and Blessings

Players can choose from a variety of characters and weapons, each with unique abilities. The core gameplay loop revolves around “swearing fealty” to Fae Lords, granting access to over 200 blessings that enhance combat prowess. This system encourages experimentation and allows for diverse build customization.

Future Console Release Planned

While the early access launch is PC-exclusive, SWORN’s developers have confirmed plans to bring the game to consoles for its 1.0 release. For updates on development progress and console release details, players can follow Windwalk Games’ official website.
